Day 10 of 30 – How to Pave Your Rut With Clarity of Purpose

by Jun 19, 2019Blog, Daily Sunrise Hike

Today Is Choice Time!

Decide what you want, choose it, and then we got to commit that we’re worth it enough to take the daily action steps to go get it.

Listen To Your Intuition

Everything’s a step step process. It’s step by step processes.

Don’t expect anything to happen overnight, but that’s if it happens overnight, you’ve been planting seeds for 10 years and that’s why that night just came.

So either you’ve been working a long time and your night is finally here or it might be a big scam.

Be careful for things that happen too quickly or seem too good to be true.

Although don’t let that hamper your excitement for things. Don’t expect the worst. If you expect the worst, the worst will happen.

So expect the best and be aware.

Expect the best, stay excited, and be aware for opportunities and for pitfalls.

And also the biggest thing in all this, is listen to your intuition. Listen to your intuition. Ask for the answers. Seek and you shall find because most people are very unclear with what they want.

Your Subconcious Cycles

An example If you want to buy a house and you don t already own one:

When you close your eyes and think of your new house, feel what you will feel, you know, touch it, taste it, the full, use all your emotions to visualize this final experience, this house, and then you’re going to be able to, your, your subconscious is going to start getting programmed to understand that this is really what you want.

This is what you want because right now your subconscious believes that what you want is what you have right now.

Your subconscious believes that what you want is what you have because that’s where you are.

Your subconscious keeps you in cycles. Keeps you in the cycle of where you are right now. So if you want to change, you have to shift your paradigm. One Way to shift your paradigm is to set a big goal and know that you can have it, know that you can do it, set the goal and know that you can achieve it.

I love you so much! Until next time, develop awesome skills and go find your gold!

00:01Morning, everybody. The moon is once again up it’s Day 10 right now. And there is amountain lion on this mountain, but it’s not a mountain lion. It’s just a catsomehow cat got up here. But what a hike for that cat like for me. Good morningeverybody. This is day 10 of my 30 day sunrise hike challenged with no coffeeand I’m feeling pretty good. Um, I’m slugging a little bit this morning because Iwas a up a little bit late last night working on building my blog. I’m finallybuilding a blog. Everybody, it’s going to be blog dot develop awesomeskills.com. So things Johnny Meyer for hooking me up with that. Um, it’s goingto be looking really good here soon. So I’m gonna start with these hiking videoson the blog and I’m going to start releasing a whole bunch of stuff calledshareable nuggets, which are two minute episodes that would get you pumped uphopefully.

01:06And all the shareable nuggets are all my drone shots and all the time lapse shots that I’veshot over the years. So all the photography in there is mine that I shot. So it’skind of cool too. But this today was difficult and I know I said it yesterday. Idon’t want to sound like a broken record here, but today was rough getting upcause I stayed up kind of late and uh Oh man, Arden me. Here’s what I want totalk about today. So Yulia mentioned yesterday in the comments that she lives inChicago. It’s a great Scott, great job and everything, but she wants a house, shewants a place where she can grows from trees. Maybe some Moringa is, that’sawesome. But somewhere you can stretch your wings and maybe pick the placeyou want to live. And I know maybe it’s not just Yulia that’s feeling that way.

02:04Sometimes you feel quite landlocked wherever you are, especially if it’s your hometown ornot your hometown. Just the place that you grew up for so many years. You livefor so many years. And the place that we live for so many years does, Cha doeslock in our paradigm. We get very, very used to stuff. And if we get very used tostuff and very comfortable with stuff, we can even get comfortable and used tothings that are unfulfilling. I don’t know if you can identify with that, but if weget comfortable used to things that are unfulfilling, all we’re going to do is bemiserable and we’re going to be silently miserable because we’re going to beasking, acting like we’re doing just fine. And for the most part we are doing finebut it’s just that something more, and that’s probably what you’re feeling.

02:52Juliette said something more, you want something more and you can have it. I’m just gonnathrow out there right now. You can have it, but you’ve got to choose and whenyou choose, you gotta be very specific and you’ve got to set a time based date. Sothere’s two things you have to do. If you have a job that you don’t like, that youwant to get out of, or if you just want to change the direction of your life. Andhere’s the two things you got to do. First you have to set a date, you have to set atime based goal. It’s gotta be time based. You’ve got to say, Hey, by this date, thisis what I want. And it’s gotta be a date that gives you plenty of time to do whatyou gotta do, but also pushes you a little bit.

03:35So you can set the day for two years ago, Oh away. You could set it for one year away, butyou can also set up for like next month or six months from now. So for instance,if you’re in a job that you don’t like, but you have to keep this job because you’repaying the bills right now, why don’t you give yourself a six month date, set aspecific date in six months, I look at the calendar, pick the 17th of a certainmonth or the first of a certain month, six months away. And then once you havethat date, basically build a game plan from that date to right now and see all theincremental steps you’re going to have to take to get there and start taking thedaily action steps to get there. Because daily action steps, baby steps taken dailylead a giant leaps over 90 days.

04:21So if when you turn around over 90 days, these baby steps have turned into giant leaps and Ihope you can identify with that because a, it’s been that way for me now. You’dbe, if you want to buy a house, that’s another thing. Everything that you reallywant to do takes a little bit of preparation. So if you want to go get a house, firstoff, just to spend a week or two doing obsessive research on locations, especiallyif you want to get out of Chicago are very, if you just want to just travel, maybeit’s maybe it’s a season of travel prior to buying your house and settling down.Maybe it’s a, I want wanna. I want to set this date to take a sabbatical from myjob. By this date, I’m going to have this much saved up to where I can travel theworld for three months or travel the u s for two months or hop, skip and jump tomy favorite places, and then pick the place and then start obsessing about realestate in that area.

05:18There’s everything’s a step step process. It’s step by step processes. Don’t expect anything tohappen overnight, but that’s if it happens overnight, it wasn’t necessarily probablyworth it or you’ve been planting seeds for 10 years and that’s why that night justcame. So either you’ve been working a long time and your night is finally here.Um, if something happens overnight or if something happens overnight, it mightbe a big ass, excuse me for that scam. So be careful for things that happen tooquickly or too good to be true. Although don’t let that hamper your excitementfor things. Don’t expect the worst. If you expect the worst, the worst will happen. So expect the best and be aware. Expect the best to stay excited and be aware foropportunities and for, for pitfalls. And also the biggest thing in all this, I think islisten to your intuition.

06:20Listen to your intuition. Ask for the answers. Seek and you shall find people are veryunclear with what they want. So my biggest piece of advice for you right now,Yulia, is be extremely specific. Step into this dream that you have here. What youhear when you’re at your new house. See what you see when you’re lookingaround in your three d space. When you close your eyes at your new house, feelwhat you feel, you know, touch it, taste it, the full, use all your emotions tovisualize this final experience, this house, and then you’re going to be able to,your, your subconscious is going to start getting programmed to understand thatthis is really what you want. This is what you want because right now yoursubconscious believes that what you want is what you have right now. Yoursubconscious believes that what you want is what you have because that’s whereyou are.

07:18Your subconscious keeps you in a cycle, keeps you in the cycle of where you’re, where youare, where you’re at right now. So if you want to change where you’re at rightnow, you have to shift your paradigm. The Way to shift your paradigm. There’s alot of processes, a lot of tactics to do, but one really exciting thing is to set a biggoal and know that you can have it, know that you can do it, set the goal andknow that you can have it. I hope that benefits you, Yulia, because uh, if youwant a house and you want some marinas and you want some trees and you wantsome land, it’s literally possible. It’s possible. You just got to choose exactly whatyou want and, and then go get it. I know I’m making it sound simple. Maybe.Maybe this doesn’t sound simple, not really sure how it sounds.

08:0612 you put in the comments below what your dreams are and what’s your 30 day challengesif you’ve given yourself a 30 day challenge or also what you’re going through, what are some issues that you’re going through so I could work through themwith you guys on these videos. Um, so that is really the goal. It really turned intobeing about goal setting again today, but I think it’s something that’s reallyimportant. I just really think that all of us goal setters and achievers out there, weneed to share our knowledge with everybody who has a hard time achievinggoals because I know there’s been certain goals that I’ve wanted for a really, really long time and then I never got them and I wondered, why didn’t I get thisgoal? I’ve been, I’ve been trying to run at this goal for like 12 years.

08:52Why didn’t I actually get it? There’s a, there’s a thing that I’m, I’m so what our beliefs aboutthe world versus our actual life there, those are two different things. The closerwe can get those to line up, the happier we are going to be so we can get ourbeliefs to line up with our actual life, how we should be living, lining up to howwe’re actually living. That is the thing that equals more fulfillment because if webelieve we should be somewhere else, but we’re right here, we’re not going to behappy. If you always want to be somewhere other than you are, you’re not goingto be happy. So we need to learn to love the present moment. Be happy withwhere you are. Now the second thing you can do, I mentioned there’s two thingsto uh, to, if you have a job and you don’t like your job, if you want to get apromotion, the first thing you can do is you could set a date, six months out, figure out what, what you need to do to get rid of that job and to get a new job insix months and then take the daily action steps to get there.

09:55Or you can choose to overdeliver at your current job. Choose to change your mind from, Idon’t like it too. You know what? I’m the best. I’m going to become the best. I’mgonna do my best. I’m going to provide excellence every single time I go at this. And if you can do that, you’re going to promote yourself. You’re going topromote yourself at your job and you might actually start liking it. Try to find thethings that like when I was in my, the midst of my depression, I was actuallydoing some pretty awesome things. Like I had gotten some pretty big jobs but Ididn’t want them, but all I really had to do was change my mind. I had to decideto want them decide to be happy. Oh, there’s the son. Good morning everybody. So it really is in the decision.

10:46We got to choose what we want. First off, we’ve got to decide what you want, choose it, andthen we got to commit that we’re worth it enough to take the daily action steps togo get it. So I hope that benefits you everybody. If you guys can benefit out ofthis episode, please feel free to share it with three friends that need a messagelike this this morning. And if you haven’t put in the comments, which are 38challenges, it doesn’t have to be sunrise hikes like this, but I wouldn’t say that thisis a really cool challenge. I don’t know that I’m going to stop doing this for youguys, although I didn’t really want to get up this morning, but after the 30 days, day 31 maybe I’ll take a small break but maybe you guys can start telling mewhere, what mountains you want to see me hiking in cause I’m thinking maybeI’ll go to Hawaii for a little bit.

11:33If you’ll go to Switzerland, hike up some sunrise peaks there. I don’t know if there’ll be 15minute intense hikes like Switzerland. Feels like that might be like a big time I,but then I can show you the sunrises and other parts of the country are an world.Anyways, I love you guys. Hope you’re doing excellent. I hope you have anincredible day and today is going to be a great day. Choose what you want and goget it. Take the daily baby action steps needed or massive action steps. But youknow what, baby acts baby steps can be massive steps too. So for all youoverachievers like me, baby action steps daily, baby steps are also massiveactions steps when you turn around, because if you take a one hour per day everysingle day, that’s 365 hours by the end of the year. It’s six and a half, 40 hourwork weeks. Think about it like that. Full time, 40 hour work weeks, one hourper day on yourself. I love you so much. You guys are incredible and thank youso much for doing what it takes to make this world a better place by becomingthe best version of you that you could possibly become. I love you so much. It’s not enough to just turn the switch off and that’s what I didn’t really understand at the time. I didn’t understand that full part of it. And, the other thing is when you choose to uninstall what you don’t like.
When you ask yourself, do I need to become aware of all these hidden blind spots and hidden weaknesses and fears that I don’t even know that I have.
The problem is the more you ask that question, the more they become revealed and when they become revealed it feels like a bandaid ripping off.
And that is okay though. It’s good.

So here’s the big question then. How do we change that programming?
How do we change the paradigm that has been pre-installed before you can even remember?
Some of these bad habits, these anger habits… Okay, so here’s another quick story.
When I was a kid, I had some anger issues and I had some anger issues because I was around some people who were angry as adults and those habits kind of just got installed in me.
But you don’t expect anger. Anger happens quick. It happens in a moment. It’s a powerful emotion.
But when I got that program installed a child, I went to anger management because it was ruining some relationships when I was a kid. I would pop off at the wrong time, in the middle of a parking lot, about something stupid. So my mom made me go to anger management.

Before You Can Remember – Shareable Nugget #18

When I was a kid, all of the experiences that I had. Yeah, they were crazy.
They were totally crazy, but they were good crazy.
I mean, do we want everything to be perfect?
Yeah. I know. I want to create, when I have kids, I want to create a great experience and environment for them, but am I going to like lock them away in a little room and not let them risk anything? Is that what we’re supposed to do? Well, here’s an interesting statistic.
More than 85% of the daily actions that we take as an adult, the habitual actions that make up our paradigm, were installed prior to us being five years old.

Gold in the form of ideas, thoughts and visions for the future.

I have become so obsessed with defining what drives us all to do the things we do. Why do we act like we are in poverty when wealth is a mindset we can switch on in a moment?

Through my life experience of selling real-estate, cars, and vacuum cleaners, to making movies, commercials,  TV & YouTube Shows, I have come up with some strategic life hacks that I truly must share! I've always been someone who made things happen, but through the chaos, that life pours on us all, I couldn't seem to get ahead ...until I discovered the KEY to finding my gold and,

This key will also work for you.
